Last Monday our principal granted us a one-day holiday because our class had shown brilliant results in the annual examinations. The day was cloudy and a pleasant breeze was blowing across.

Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school. Sports themselves have a vital role in making a child sound physically as well as mentally. The Annual Sports Day of our wing (Junior) was held on 5th of November 2013. It was held in the playground of our school.

TRAINING PROGRAMMES
Faculty Training and Professional Development
At DIET Tuensang, faculty members are regularly nominated for national and state-level training programmes organized by NCERT and SCERT. These programmes ensure that faculty remain up to date with the latest developments in the field of education.
Training and orientation sessions are also conducted on various government policies and educational reforms, with a strong emphasis on themes highlighted in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Faculty members also participate in refresher courses and academic workshops conducted by NCERT, NERIE, and other institutions of national importance.
- In-Service and Community Training Programmes
Beyond the regular academic duties, the faculty of DIET Tuensang actively organize and facilitate short-term training programmes for a variety of stakeholders, including in-service teachers, Head teachers, Community members and Parents.
Our training and support services also extend to neighbouring districts including Longleng, Shamator and Noklak, ensuring equitable access to teacher education and capacity-building initiatives across the region.
- Workshops and Pedagogical Enrichment
Workshops on Development of Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM), Blueprint, Life Skills, Pedagogical Skills, etc. are also conducted on a regular basis.
